ACRP gathering at Bengaluru India / インド バンガロールでのACRPの集い

4月16日から19日までインドのバンガロールで年に一度のACRP執行委員会が開催されます。この会議はACRPのビジョン、ミッション、アクションを確認し、さらなる行動を起こしていくための非常に重要な話し合いの場です。

The annual Executive Committee (EC) meeting of ACRP will be held at Bengaluru of India from April 16th through 19th, 2018. It is a significant meeting for ACRP to further taking concrete actions with confirmation of its vision, mission and action plans.

2020年秋に予定されているACRP東京大会のテーマやプログラムの検討、予算の決定、中・長期方針の話し合い、ACRP戦略計画の議論、ACRP旗艦プロジェクトの検討、各国委員会やコミッション報告、ロヒンギャ難民支援報告、女性、青年ネットワーク活動報告、平和教育センター活動報告、そしてフィールド学習など、盛りだくさんのプログラムです。

The EC has so many agendas such as discussion on the central theme and program of Tokyo General Assembly, budget, mid and long-term policy, ACRP strategic plan, ACRP flagship projects、reports on national chapters and commissions, Rohingya refugee project, Women’s and Youth Networks, Peace Education Center, and fieldwork, etc.

ホストのインド委員会はこの数か月間、ロジスチックからプログラムの企画・立案まで東京事務局と連絡を取り合いながら非常に緻密かつハードな準備に取り組んできてくれました。最後の最後までベターなプログラムを模索し、現在最終の準備段階に入っております。

Indian National chapter, the host of EC, has been wholeheartedly devoting to the preparation including all logistics and planning of programs in a very diligent and accurate manner, through close coordination and collaboration with Tokyo Secretariat for last months. We are together entering into the final stage of preparation while pursuing better program till the last moment.

私たちの合言葉は、会議のための会議、対話のための対話ではなく、宗教対話、協力の具体的実践活動を通してアジア全体並びに加盟各国が現実に抱える様々な問題の解決に向けて、宗教者としての努力を惜しみなく展開していくことです。情熱と智慧をもって汗をかいていくことです。

Our motto is to fully extend efforts of religious people towards the solution of various problems we are facing in each country as well as in the whole region of Asia, through real dialogue and actions, not by meeting for the meeting, nor dialogue for dialogue. We shall endeavor disparately with passion and wisdom.

そのためには人的、財的資源の確保が欠かせません。小麦粉一袋を買うのにも、対立する人々の話し合いの場を提供するにも、それらの資源は必要なのです。執行委員会ではいかにしてそうした人的、財的資源を確保していくかも真剣に話し合われる予定です。まず切り詰めるところは切り詰めて、資金確保活動を展開しながら、使うべきところに使っていくという当たり前の哲学です。

For achieving that purpose, human and financial resources are indispensable. We need such resources even buying one bag of wheat flour, or providing a platform of dialogue for those who are in a conflicting relationship. In the EC meeting, we will discuss how we will secure such human and financial resources. First, we have to economize whatever possible and use our money for worth spending while conducting fundraising. This is a common philosophy.

「平和のための諸宗教アジア会議」がACRP、すなわちAsian Conference of Religions for Peaceの直訳です。あくまでも平和構築が目的なのです。そのために私たち宗教者は何ができるか、何をなすべきか、信仰者の私は何ができるか、何をなすべきか。真剣に話し合いながらできるところから汗を流していくのです。

ACRP means Asian Conference of Religions for Peace．Yes; the purpose is to build Peace, nothing other than that. For this purpose, what can and shall we, people of religion do, what can I and shall I, a person of faith do. We start our endeavor with whatever possible through sincere dialogue and discussion.

熱い議論が展開されることでしょう。いかに自分たちの使命を自覚し、そして実行に移していくか。アジア地域で苦境にあえぐ声なき人々の声に耳を澄ませながらいかに彼らと共に支え合いながら生きていくか。いかに一緒に泣き、一緒に笑い、共に手を取り合って生きていくか。

I expect we will have a hot debate. How do we recognize our mission and put into practice, and how do we live together by helping and supporting each other through listening to the voices of people who are suffering from problems in the Asian region, and how do we live hand in hand through crying and laughing together?

神仏を信じる最大の功徳は神仏の声を聴くことです。神仏は私たち宗教者に何を語り、何を求めているのか。その御声をお聞きしながら会議に臨み、さらなる汗をみんなで掻いていきたいと思います。

The most gracious merit of believing in God and Buddha is that we can hear the voice of God and Buddha. What do God and Buddha speak to and ask us?? We want to make further efforts together at and from the EC by listening to the pure voice.
