Importance of rereading / 読み返すことの大切さ

Nowadays, l write a blog article on a relatively high pace except the period during my overseas mission. Topics come to my mind after half 30 minutes to one hour’s concentration.

最近は、海外出張の期間を除いては、結構ハイスピードでブログ原稿を書いています。トピックは30分から1時間位集中すると頭に浮かんできます。

It is not so easy to reread my articles. Because I know the contents enough and start thinking of the next article immediately after posting the previous one.

自分の原稿を読み返すのはなかなか容易なことではありません。なぜなら、十分に内容を把握していますし、投稿した直後から次の草稿を考え始めているからです。

Recently, I noticed that there is a catch in this process. It is certain that a long gap occurs between each article when my writing momentum ceases, but it is also certain if I continue writing with the energy, contents may overlap, or even though there is no discrepancy in logic, the tone may be lacking consistency, I feel. I am sorry for everyone who reads my blog.

最近、これには落とし穴があることに気づいてきました。確かに勢いが止まると投稿に間が空いてしまうのも確かなのですが、勢いのままに書き続けると、内容が重なり、論理の不一致はないにしても、論調が整合性に欠けているのではないか、と思う時があるからです。これでは読んでくださる皆さまにも申し訳ないと思うのです。

Still, the most significant merit of continuing to write is that I am always traveling to find out what I have not touched yet in, and what I have not deeply looked into what I’ve written so far.

それでも、書き続けることの最大のメリットは、常に今まで語ってきたことの中でまだ触れていないこと、深く見つめていないことは何かを、探し続ける旅をしていることです。

My sensitive antenna is continuously moving toward many objects, such as viewing sight, scenery, sudden feelings by watching the news, television programs, or inspiration and awareness through encountering and talking with people, and so on. Even on a trip or during a walk, my eyes are always looking for the scenery and flowers. It is to take pictures to post on my blog.

ふと目にした光景、風景、ニュースやテレビを見ていてふと感じる事柄、人との出会い、会話で得た感動、問題意識など、アンテナが常に動くようになっていることです。旅先でも、散歩の途中でも目は常に景色や草花に向けられています。ブログに載せる写真を撮るためです。

However, while continuing to write, I would like to take the time to read back.  I think I can further deepen my thought in this way.

しかし、書き続けながらも、読み返す時間をしっかり取っていきたいと思います。そうするとさらに思索が深まると思うからです。

If you reread a good book after a while, there are discoveries and inspirations. In this way, I think I can deepen thinking and learning.

良書でもしばらくして読み返すと新たな発見や感動があるものです。こうして考えや学びが深まっていくのだと思います。
