I was very honored to be among audience to listen to His Holiness Pope Francis’ speech delivered at the Founder’s memorial in Abu Dhabi, on February 4, 2019.

私は光栄にも2019年2月4日、アブダビ建国の父記念公園でのフランシスコ教皇スピーチを拝聴する機会に恵まれました。

I want to share with you my great joy.

私の大きな感動をお分けします。

-God creates one human family.

神は一つの人類家族を創造した。

-All peoples have equal dignity.

全ての人々は平等な尊厳性を有する。

-Each person is equally precious.

一人一人は平等に尊い存在である。

-All human beings have the same human right.

すべての人間は同じ人権を有する。

-Any violence cannot be justified.

いかなる暴力も正当化できない。

-UAE commits to tackling the extremism and hatred.

アラブ首長国連邦は過激主義と憎しみの問題に挺身している。

-The fraternity embraces diversity based on the same dignity.

友愛は同じ尊厳性に基づいた多様性を包摂している。

-We, believers, are to commit to equal dignity.

我々神を信ずるものは平等な尊厳性に挺身しなければならない。

-We should treat everyone equally.

我々はあらゆる人を平等に扱わなければならない。

-We should generate an authentic fraternity.

我々は真の友愛を生み出さなければならない。

-Religion can be a channel for the fraternity.

宗教は友愛のチャンネルになることができる。

-The human family should have daily dialogues.

人類は毎日対話を行わなければならない。

-The human family should have the courage of “otherness.”

人類家族は「他者性」の勇気を持たなければならない。。

-We all are religious children of God.

我々はすべて神の宗教的子供である。

-We shall see others children, brothers and sisters.

我々は他者を神の子ども、兄弟、姉妹と見なければ何らない。

-Everyone shall enjoy the freedom of speech, belief, and actions.

あらゆる人々は表現、信教、行動の自由を享受すべきである。

-God’s divine wisdom is the right to freedom.

神の聖なる知恵は自由の権利そのものである。

-The dialogue and prayer are the mission of religious people.

対話と祈りは宗教者の使命である。

-The courage to recognize others is the core of dialogue.

他者を認める勇気が対話の核心である。

-We should encourage the otherness

我々は「他者性」を奨励すべきである。

-Prayer restores the heart of fraternity.

祈りは友愛の心を再生する。

-We are brothers and sisters in the human family. There is no alternative.

我々は人類家族の兄弟姉妹である。他の選択肢はない。

-We should be bridges between peoples and cultures.

我々は人々と文化の懸け橋になるべきである。

-The vision of hope and the concrete path to peace are the most important.

希望のビジョンと平和への具体的な道こそ、最も重要である。

-The wing of education and the wing of justice are indispensable for building peace.

教育と正義の翼は平和を築き上げるために不可欠である。

-Training for young people needs to be carried out reciprocally between trainers  and trainees.

若者の教育は教える側と教えられる側ともに、相互的に行われる必要がある。

-Faith has to be genuine.

信仰は真正、純粋でなければならない。

-To foster the identity of openness is critical.

オープンのアイデンティティを育むことが大切である。

-We should not surrender to materialism.

物質主義に敗北してはならない。

-The effect of righteousness is peace.

正当性の成果は平和である。

-Taking time and patience are essential for human life.

時間をかけること、忍耐することが人生の本質である。

-we should not close our eyes to the problems.

我々は問題に目を閉じてはならない。

-The desert becomes a significant place and the crossroad for religions and cultures of　North, South, East, and West.

この砂漠は、東西南北の宗教と文化の貴重な出会いの場となっている。

-The indifference becomes an obstacle to religions.

無関心は宗教の妨げとなる。

-The indifference doesn’t care future, children, and dignity of others.

無関心は未来、子供、他者の尊厳性をないがしろにする。

-We should support in solidarity to protect minorities.

我々は団結してマイノリティーの人々を保護すべきである。

-The respect for tolerance allows spiritual maturity.

寛容性を尊重することは精神的成長を実現する。

-The citizenship should be guaranteed in the entire region of the all middle east.

市民権は中東地域全体で保障されねばならない。

-The fraternal living based on education and justice is required in the world,

教育と正義に基づいた友愛的な生き方が世界で求められている。

-we should not surrender to weapons.

我々は武器に敗北してはならない。

-We should commit to dialogue.

我々は対話に挺身すべきである。

-God is with those who pray for peace.

神は平和を祈る人と共にある。
