What exists after a hurdle? / 壁の次にあるのものは？

I am trying to overcome a big hurdle. What will I see after a barrier? Is it my new question? At that moment one of my friends shared me the message of a famous figure skate gold medalist at the last winter Olympic.

今、私は大きな壁を乗り越える努力をしています。壁の向こうには何が見えるのでしょうか？これは私にとって、とてもエキサイティングな疑問です。そんなとき、友人の一人が前回の冬のオリンピックの有名なフィギュアスケート金メダリストのメッセージを分けてくれました。

He said there was a hurdle after he overcame a big obstacle.

彼は大きな壁を超えた向こうには壁があったと語ったのです。

He made the great achievement to win two gold medals in a consecutive two Olympics. What he saw after such incredible incidents was the next hurdle. He said there was a hurdle after the one he had overcome.

彼はオリンピックで金メダルを二回続けてとるという偉業を成し遂げました。そのような信じられない出来事の後に彼が見たのは次の壁だったというのです。壁の向こうには壁があったのです。

How do you feel about his message? For me, it was just an astonishing impact. Surely he is very young, but will he challenge the third gold medal?

I feel now strongly that there might be no end in pursuing our goals in our life as long as we live.

私が今、強く感じることは、生きている限り、人生においてゴールを追い求め続ける旅に終わりはないということです。

However, what I feel sure is that I cannot see the next hurdle unless I clear the obstacle in front of me. So, I shall do my utmost to overcome it.

しかし、１つだけ確かなことと感じることは目の前の壁を乗り越えない限り、次の壁は見えないということです。ですからそれを乗り越える努力をしていかなければならないと思います。
